Under the leadership of Pastor Kelvin Teel, the Souls4Real Ministries presents the Souls4Real Ensemble Community Gospel Choir, a dynamic collective of more than twenty-five vocalists and musicians from a variety of backgrounds and multiple churches. This group is bound together by their profound faith and devotion to God, striving to inspire, guide, and support others in living a life that is true to divine principles. Through their musical talent, they share the message of God's Kingdom, organizing concerts, events, and diverse outreach activities.
More than just a choir, this assembly fosters a nurturing environment where prayer, praise, and community engagement flourish. Their mission extends to building bridges of harmony among believers from various churches, with gospel and spiritual melodies serving as a compelling catalyst for unity.
Established in 2012, the inspiration for the Souls4Real Ensemble Community Gospel Choir came from the Woodlawn Voices of Praise Gospel Choir, a youth ensemble led by Kelvin and Maria Teel at the Woodlawn United Methodist Church, which performed throughout the District of Columbia, Maryland, and Virginia for over a decade. As the original members transitioned, the vision for the Souls4Real Ensemble Community Choir emerged, influenced by the Holy Spirit. Their debut ministry event in January 2013 marked the start of many influential ministry endeavors across the region.
